Howard of Norman, Oklahoma, born in Stroud, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul R. Whetstone and Dorothy Pitts-Whetstone; her daughter Kathryn Howard-May; and her husband Thomas Ewing Howard. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas (Julie Hendricks-Howard) and Tim (Jaclyn McCullagh-Howard); her grandchildren, Jennifer Zuker-Cochell (Chad Cochell), Whitney Howard (Jessica Melvin-Howard), Kayla Howard-Hackmann (Matt Hackmann), Leanna Howard, Jacob Zuker, Thomas Howard (Ellin Flowers-Howard) and Jon-Paul Howard; her great grandchildren, Keaton Cochell, Nolan Cochell, Jackson Howard, Wavelyn Howard and Evan Hackmann; and her sister Paulette Whetstone-Barnes (Fred Barnes). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family kindly suggests that tributes to Norma be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society Oklahoma or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
