She was predeceased by: her grandparents, JC Irons Jr. and Mattie Mae Irons; her uncles, Johnny C. Irons III, Steven Allen Irons and Miller Maurice Newman; and her cousin Donald Maurice Newman.

She is survived by: her children, Kyliee and RJ; her husband Richard Smith; and her sister Angelica Franklin. She is also survived by numerous loving family members and dear friends.
