It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Kula (Norman, Oklahoma), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCarthy and Loretta McCarthy (Brennan); her siblings, Chuck, Peggy, Helen, Mary Ellen and Danny; and her daughter Wendy.
She is survived by: her husband Frank "Duke" Kula; her children, David, Laura and Susan; her sister Ruth; and her parents-in-law, Arlette and Norman. She is also survived by husband of 68 years, three children, eleven grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
