She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Green Berry Deal and Mattie Harbuck Deal; and her sister Ina. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ann Reece, Sally Benfield Suit and Shari Black; her sons-in-law, Jim Smith, Glen Black, Richard Benfield and Chris Suit; her grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Elizabeth Devaney, David Benfield, Diana Smith and Patrick Devaney; and her close friend Arlene Carr.
