He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Kamminga Martinez and Josefina Leon Guerrero Martinez; his brother Harry James Martinez; and his son Harry Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Renee McDaniel (John), Vanessa Cepeda (Daniel), Carl Martinez and Imke Martinez (Eliza); his grandchildren, Johnny Martinez Jr. (Anya), Judy Martinez, Davin John Cepeda, Davina Joie Cepeda, Darren Jose Cepeda, Draven Jacob Martinez, Aiden Martinez, Johanna Martinez and Hanneaka McDonald; his brothers, Robert Martinez (Young) and Mike Martinez; and his former wife Evelyn Francisco. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
