She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn G. Harper and Dana Lee McCauley; her former husband William Earl Bottom; and her brothers, Bobby, Billy, Carroll (Tunk) and Milton McCauley (Red).

She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Tracy, Dana, Joyce, Scott, Penny, Kirby, Jacque, Jamie, Joe, Hal, Janie, Seth, Sadie, Billy, Randy, Tiffany, Sam, Jim, Faith, Gordon, Taylor, Jeremy, Emilia, Calum, Leila, Eric, Alex, Rylee, Jacee, Augustine and Theo; and her husband Dr. Hal Belknap. She is also survived by her daughters, sons, in-laws, grandchildren.

“What a great blessing JoAnn was in my life! 30 years ago, she gave me boxes & boxes of preschool Bible teaching aids. I have since passed them on to another young Bible school teacher.
