She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Akerman and Ella Akerman; her siblings, Cindy Reed, Dan Akerman, Rita White, Laura Scott, Nancy Wiltz and Rob Akerman; her son Bill Martin (Lyna); her grandchildren, Madisen and Devon of Edmond; and her daughter Tiffany Burton (Daniel) of Oklahoma City.
