He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Chloe and Adrian Hernandez of Ardmore; his brothers, Johnny Ward of Sulphur, David Ward of Davis and Randy Barbie of Texas; and his aunt Beverly Goeders of Sulphur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
