He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Virginia Blanche Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Whalen; his children, Jamie Hadley (Tim), Victoria Clark (Jeffrey), Tom Whalen (April) and Elizabeth Robertson (Hank); his siblings, Dawn Petty, Ronda Strouse and Larry Whalen (Pat); and his uncle Jack Whalen. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
