It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James L. Grigsby Jr. in Norman, Oklahoma, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Grigsby; his parents, Jeanette Faye and James L. Grigsby, Sr.; his son-in-law Ashford "Tad" Gockel; and his sisters, Jeanette Borders and Marilyn Graham.

He is survived by: his children, Christina Denise "Denny" Gockel, James L. "Jim" Grigsby III (Vivian) and Valerie Ann Hampton (Herb); his grandchildren, Bryant Davis, Shawna Molina, Chelsea Gockel, Jessica Grigsby, Sean Grigsby, Kelley Hampton, Claire Hampton and Trevor Johnson (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Grant Davis, Ashton, Maggie Molina, Rory, Connor Joseph and Ford Johnson.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests contributions be made to Northwest Bible Church 6316 N. Tulsa Ave., OKC, OK 73112.
