He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Brown (Wilson) and James A. Brown Sr.; and his sister Dorothy Lakan of Punta Gorda, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Belknap; his children, Douglas Brown of Las Vegas, NV and Constance Huddleston of Norman, OK; his grandson Alex J. Lohmann of Portland, OR; and his niece Diane Gudmundsen of Punta Gorda, FL..
