It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginny Swanson (Norman, Oklahoma), born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Wire and Margaret Wire (Simmons); her siblings, Donald Richard Wire and Jeanette Irene Winge (Wire); and her son Saul Swanson.
She is survived by: her pet Santino; her husband Herb Swanson of Norman, Oklahoma; her children, Carl Daniel Swanson (Shannon), Jonathan David Swanson, James Andrew Swanson of Loveland, Colorado, Philip Stephen Swanson (Holly), Rebekah Ruth Koller (Maximilian) of Norman, Oklahoma and Sarah Swanson Bitanga (Ricardo) of Okinawa, Japan.; her grandchildren, Tobin, Ulli Swanson of Loveland, Colorado, Nova Swanson, Arthur, Grey Koller of Norman, Oklahoma, Margaret, Eloise, Rocco and Francisco Bitanga of Okinawa, Japan.; and her siblings, Ellen Schatzke (Bob) of Des Moines, Iowa, James Wire (Lucy) of Fargo and Joanne Zaharia (Mark) of Cummings. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
