He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Dittmar and Beatrice Dittmar (Canning); and his grandparents, Alonso, Francis Canning, Frederick Dittmar Jr. and Caroline Dittmar.
He is survived by: his sister Caroline Dittmar; and his grandchildren, Adrienne Thomas (Dittmar), F. Mark and Annette. He is also survived by his family, friends, pets.
