He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Inez Symcox (McCurley) and John Raymond Symcox; and his brother Phil Symcox. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise; his son Lee (Suzie); his grandchildren, John Raymond Symcox II (Ashlee) and Lauren Symcox Voth (Trent); his great grandchildren, Eliana Grace and McKinley Hope; his son Jay (Lori); his granddaughters, Caroline and Clair; his daughter Anne Bechtold (David); his grandchildren, Matthew Christopher and Sarah O'Dell (Trey); his great grandchild Crosby Grace; his grandchildren, Joe Christopher and Sophie Christopher; his nephew Keith Symcox (Mariana); his great-niece Miranda; and also, Kevin Symcox (Caroline), Carl Symcox and David Symcox.
