He was predeceased by: his son David; his parents, Mary Schacher and Vernon Wright; his brother Ron Wright; his brother-in-law Leonard Dodd; and his great-nephew Kallan Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Sophie, Samuel Wright of Norman and Tanner Fox of Choctaw; his sister Elouise Dodd of Harrah; and his sister-in-law Brenda Wright of Yukon. He is also survived by other cousins and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to, Sam Wright and Sophie Fox.
