It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Darlene McCormick of Norman, Oklahoma, born in Hobart, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gayel Silas Winters and Beulah Noxie Winters (Smith); her brother Max Winters; and her sister-in-law Sandra Winters. She is survived by: her husband Billy "Smokey" Dale McCormick; her daughters, Michelle Eddington (Chris) of Newark, Texas and Shara Schane (Michael) of Newcastle, Oklahoma; her brother Glade Winters (Mary) of Irving, Texas; and her grandchildren, Victoria Schane, Mikayla Brumley (Zane), Quentin Schane and Paetra Eddington. She is also survived by 1 niece; 3 nephews; and a host of friends.
