He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Czaplinski. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Averyt and Tonya Averyt; his sister Emily Mollman (Jacob); his grandparents, Joe and Sue Averyt; his nephew Noah; his niece Lucy; his aunts and uncles, Kim Enevoldsen (Gary), Pam McEnany (Mike) and Ron Simpson (Brandy); his great-aunt Naomi Spriggs; his great-uncle Bill Ashley; and his cousins, Jeffrey Enevoldsen, Jenna Wombwell, Sara Ward, John McEnany, Nathan Harris and Jack Simpson.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (3939 W Tecumseh Rd, Norman, OK 73072). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Saint Marys Cemetery.
