Annie L. Whited Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie L. Whited of Norman, Oklahoma, born in Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleopas Dawson and Jennie Ivey (Walker); her husband James L. Whited; and her sister Helen Walker (Ben Walker). She is survived by: her children, James P. Whited (Barbara) of St. Leonard and Carolyn Willige (Ben) of Norman, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Jason Willige (Viola Eldrod), Justin Willige, James Whited Jr. (Teresa) and Daniel Whited; and her great grandchildren, Trey Willige, Tyler Willige, Lance Whited and Alayna Whited. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Service & Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery (1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel (1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Full Circle in Norman, a senior day care center that held special meaning to Annie.
