She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Glen Filkins and Janet Naomi Weissman. She is survived by: her husband Eric Olesen; her children, Ian Olesen, Sariah Thomas and Kirstin Olesen; her grandsons, Xavier and Oliver Olesen; her birth mother Cynthia DiNanno; her brother Scott Filkins; and her half-siblings, Rob Landry, Ann McNeil, Theresa Hadaegh and Jeanette Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.
