It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Larry Gibbons of Noble, Oklahoma, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Loy Gibbons and Lucille Gibbons (Turnage); his former wife Lynn Gibbons (Cooper); and his brothers-in-law, John Daly, Steve Fernandes and Milton Guardado.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Elia Guardado Franco; his children, Joseph Gibbons of Gillette, Jonathan Menjivar (Alexa) of Tulsa, Melissa Miller of Crescent City, Jaqueline Gibbons of Atascadero, Brandi Gibbons of Spokane and Stephanie Menjivar of Oklahoma City; and his siblings, James Gibbons (Christine) of Atascadero, California, Mildred Daly of Noble, Judy Fernandes of Santa Maria and Donna Pryor (Daniel) of Noble. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
