He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Reed and Goldie Reed (Shelton); and his brothers, Willie, Harold, John and Richard Reed.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Reed (Dana) and Kevin Reed; his grandchildren, Brianna Harris (Josh), Ransom Reed (Evan), Tori Garner (Jeremiah), Lane Reed (Emily) and Harley Reed; his great grandchildren, Ryanne Garner and Lyla Reed; and his brother Walt Reed.
