With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Merritt of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, born in Bray, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 24, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dow Garrett and Hazel Garrett (Davis); her former husband Tommy Wayne Young; her spouse Billie Ray Merritt; her siblings, William Garrett, Robert Garrett, Linda Price and Helen Price; and her stepson Gary Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, David Young of Marlow, Bobby Dean Young (Dawn) of Marlow, Anthony Couch (Tammy) of Chickasha, Billy Ray Merritt Jr. (Edna) of Ninnekah, Joyce Dixon (Tim) of Marlow and Peggy Young of Marlow; her stepchildren, Debbie Merritt of Marlow, Tammy Schoonover of Duncan and Kenny Merritt of Duncan; and her siblings, Jerry Garrett (Lynn) of Bray, Donna Ward of Bray and Phyllis Womack (Duane). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
