He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Paul F. Benien and Kay Fandel; his brother John; and his son Fred. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; and his daughters, Mary Benien, Nancy Elix of Tulsa, Christy Bell, Charlotte Drabek and Alanna Peebles of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
