He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Geraldine Smith and Ray Gauger; and his granddaughter Chelsea Schlichting. He is survived by: his wife Donita Gauger; his daughters, Kristal Schlichting (Craig) of Garber and Kendra Wright (Jeff) of Enid; his grandchildren, Cameron Wright, Kylie Wright, Kaylynne Wright, Cheyenne Schlichting, Clara Schlichting, Cora Schlichting and Caroline Schlichting; his siblings, Don Gauger (Mary) of Owasso Oklahoma and Keryl Saban (Jim Ratzlaff) of Magnolia Texas; his niece Becky Gauger (Danielle Holtz); and his nephews, Mike Gauger, Kevin Gauger, Chris Gauger and Logan Neely.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church (1001 W Boaz St, Newkirk, OK 74647).
