It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roxie Ann Mavis of Newkirk, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgel R. Northcutt and Sarah E. Northcutt (Dobbs); her sons, Jamie and Ryan Mavis; her sister Lexy Edwards; her parents-in-law, Joe and Elva Mavis; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Bannon Jr. and Eddie Dean Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband David Mavis; her children, Leigh Leven (Jason) of Burbank, OK and Andy Mavis (Candace) of Newkirk, OK; her grandchildren, Saige, Anthony Leven, Pierce and Brace Mavis; her sister Sharon Bannon of Douglass, KS; her siblings-in-law, Danny Mavis of Ponca City, Cathy Mavis of Arkansas City and Cindy Young of Arkansas City; and her friends, Herb and Rita Nellis of Newkirk, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma High School Rodeo Scholarship Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
