She was predeceased by: her parents, Preach Griffith and Juanita Griffith; her grandparents, Grant, Gracie Griffith, Ed and Leola Chastain; and her brothers, David (Patricia McMahan), Martyne Noland and Jim McMahan.
She is survived by: her spouse Orvis; her daughters, Gale Wilson (Tim) of Goldsby, Elizabeth Melton (Jim Melton) of Okla City and Kathy Black (Corey) of Newcastle; her grandchildren, Taylor Thurmond (Nick) of Dallas, Dr. Kale Melton (Jenny) of Tuttle, McKenzie Melton (Karl Francel) of Okla City, Morgan Fene (Evan Fene) of Denver, CO, Collin Black (Bayleygh), Richard Lyman V (Twenty) and Chloe Black of Newcastle; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Eleanor Thurmond, Sophie Hierl, Colter Black, Veda Lyman, Beckett, Shepherd and Sullivan Fene; and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Noland, Sue McMahan and Jo McMahan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 3132 Tri City Ave, Newcastle, OK 73065. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1650 N Main St, Newcastle, OK 73065).
