He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Van Jernigan and Verna Victoria Jernigan (Mayo); his wife Brenda Jernigan; and his nephew Randy Richardson. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Williams (Robby) of Tuttle and Rebecca Barney (Wayne) of Tuttle; his siblings, Ray Jernigan, Sandy of Choctaw, Kenny Jernigan (Hope) of Edmond and Linda Lee of Newcastle; and his grandchildren, Kaci Williams, Ashlyn Barney, Logan Barney and Bayley Williams.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 3132 Tri City Ave, Newcastle, OK 73065. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1650 N Main St, Newcastle, OK 73065). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Newcastle Memorial Garden (2345 S Main St, Newcastle, OK 73065).
