He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Files of Newcastle; his children, Johnny Files, Jr. (Nancy) of Newcastle, Don Files (Sherrie) of Newcastle, Paul Files (Cheryl) of Blanchard and Pattie Ann Claunch of Newcastle; his daughter-in-law Gina Files of Newcastle; his grandchildren, Lori Brasel (Geoffrey), Dustin Files, Carlye Files (D. J. Kistler), Aaron Files, Lacy Morgan (Curtis), Tamara McCandless (Josh), Dystani Langley (Jordan), Austin Claunch (Amber) and Lindsey Claunch; his great grandchildren, Mason, Maddie, Maleigh, Parker, Beckett, Cooper, Dakota, Addie, Johnnie, Pepper, Gunner and Aiden; and his siblings, Ella Mae Fink and Harold Nichols (April). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodland Hills Baptist Church (313 Oklahoma 76, Newcastle, OK 73065).
