She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ione Stampes and Vernon Stampes; her brother William Bennet Stampes; her husband Jack Wilson Brooks; and her grandson Jackson Levi Huff.
She is survived by: her daughter Crissi; her brother John; her sisters-in-law, Tana Stampes and Martha Stampes; her sister Jerry Matthews (Wayne); her sister-in-law Judye Derr (Jim); her children, Sherri Huff and Steve; her children-in-law, Alayna Brooks and Richard Palmer; and her grandchildren, Berklee, Braxton Huff, Levi, Sam, Lily-Grace, Joey, Simon and Saydi Brooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given in Sue's memory to First United Methodist Church, Tulia, Texas, where she was a member for over 50 years, or to First United Methodist Church, Midland, Texas where she was a member the past 4 years.
