He is survived by: his children, Eugene Whalin (Stephanie), Crystal Ramirez (Billy), Greg Whalin (Priscilla), Darrel Whalin (Melissa) and Samantha Wilson (Nathan); his sisters, Linda Brewer and Glenda Scales (Jesse); his grandchildren, John David, Josh, Dally, Jake, Chloe, Rowdy, Karli, Tyler, Tayler, Emma, Gracie, Lydia, Brier, Hunter, Landon, Colt, Karson, Aubree, Silas, Tayla and Baylee; and his great grandchildren, Tatum, Chevy, Rhyatt, Tymber, Rydge and Judith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and several other loving family members and friends.
