He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zander and Alma Zander; and his children, Tara Dawn and Layne Dean Zander. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Lara Lyn (Matt Meyer); his daughter-in-law Terri Zander; his grandchildren, Addie Jo Zander, Anna Dawn (Brent Ballagh), Montell Layne Meyer and Morgan Gene Meyer; his siblings, Eddie Lee Zander (Norma) and Alma Dee Hopkins; and his friend Larry.
Memorials may be made to the church he loved, Nash Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
