It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Katherine Benda (Mustang, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 2, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Benda; and her grandson Sammy Jay Novosad. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Novosad (Sam), Gary Benda (Dianne), Colleen Carlisle and Paul Benda (Bekki); and her grandchildren, Chris Novosad (Maryorys), Gena Novosad, David Novosad (Chloe), Alan Benda, Ashleigh Petrides and Jessica Streller (Eric). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the Czech National Cemetery.
