He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Loyd; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Voss and Howard "Mac" McCandless. He is survived by: his mother Hildreth Loyd (Rogers); his wife Katherine "Kathy" (Taylor); his daughters, Meghan McCarther (Bryan) and Summer Loyd; his grandchildren, Daxon and Stella; and his siblings, Rodney Loyd (Peggy), Melinda Voss and Sherri McCandless (Richard Eubanks). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the scholarship fund for the Mustang High School Band or to the American Cancer Society.
