He is survived by: his mother Malinda Lee Taylor (Edward); his wife Carol Jean Stephens; his children, Stephen Clayton Knauff and Shanda Jean Hensel (John); his grandchildren, Cally Jean Hensel and Hahn Kyan Hensel; his brothers, Colonel James E. Knauff Jr. (Janelle) and Robert Lincoln Knauff; his mother-in-law Sharon Stephens; and his brother-in-law Terry Stephens (Kelle).
