She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Beuchaw and Jessie Beuchaw; and her husband Dennis Lucas. She is survived by: her children, Tina (Stephen Szabo) and Tonja (Robert Worthy); her grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Michael and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Anika, Valor and Aurelius; and her siblings, Larry, Wayne and Ramona. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.

Building an early foundation of a strong work ethic, she helped at a drive-in.
