He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dwight Howell and Mary Jo Howell (Smith); his grandparents, Buford D. Howell, Vera Howell (Maness), C. Banford Smith and Mary Smith (Bullman); his nephew Elvis P. Jones, Jr.; and his father-in-law Glen Muse.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy McCool Howell; his daughters, Kendra Marie Nelson Hale (Jarod Hale) of Bridgecreek, OK, Erica Lynne Nelson Gambill (Stephen Gambill) of Del City, OK, Jacklyn DeAnn Nelson Owens of Mustang and Cassidee Rhea Baugh; his grandchildren, Josiah Hale, Lydiah Hale, Alexandriah Hale, Macaiah Hale, Kinley Gambill, Macie Gambill, Tristan Owens and Ty Owens; his siblings, David Howell (Joan Howell) of Old Hickory, TN, Barbara Jones (Elvis Jones) of Fairview, TN, Annette Allison (Ricky Allison) of Burns, TN and Penny Wade of Fairview, TN; his mother-in-law Bunnie Muse; and his siblings-in-law, Debra Nowlin Olsen (Charlie) and Steve McCool (Jamie). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, grand and grand grand nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
