He was predeceased by: his father Gene Taggart. He is survived by: his parent Marolyn Pryor; his husband Greg Stipp of Mustang, Oklahoma; his stepfather Roger Pryor of Yukon, Oklahoma; his siblings, Carla Buck (Dave) of Mustang, Oklahoma and Troy Taggart (Vonda) of Chico, Texas; his nieces, Casey Walker (Tyler) and Hayley Iago (Sean) of Mustang, Oklahoma; and his friend Keith.
Throughout this journey, he became the Founder and Director of the NTRKers Foundation (ntrkers.org), a non-profit that advocated for access to testing, treatment and research.
