She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Josephine Anna Weatherford, I first met Josie when I was assigned to her for home health. During my visits with her we developed a friendship and shared many stories. Eventually she was released from out services but our friendship continued. We stayed in contact and would call each other and I would even stop in to see here. She was very special to me and I am going to miss her deeply...she was like family. My heart and prayers goes out to the family.”
