It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Taylor of Mustang, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vordlee Taylor and Frances Lee Taylor Whitton (Rusche); his former wife Mary Lee Taylor Nichols (Tramel); his grandson Chad Lee Troxell; his in-laws, Joe Luker (Toni Luker), Sue Dearman and Lynn Luker; and his pet Radar.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Lee Taylor Jr. (Dena Taylor) of Oklahoma City and Patricia Lee Minyard (Mike Minyard) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his wife Wilma Taylor (Luker); his sisters, Connie Sterling (Jon Sterling) of Oklahoma City and Valerie Lowitzki (Art) of Brooksville, Florida; his in-laws, Shirley Luker of Crescent, Paul Luker (Lucy Luker) of Lusk and Grover Dearman of Ola, Arkansas; his stepchildren, Sheryl Sordahl (Gene Sordahl) of Mustang, Sharon Miller (Douglas Miller) of Mustang, Leroy Hammer (Buddy), Gabriela Rodriguez of Houston and Gary Hightower (Candice Hightower) of Edmond, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Taylor Troxell, Jimmy Taylor III (Trey), Kelsey Taylor, Christopher Frye (Alisha Frye), Jordan Hammer, Taylor Brannon (Zeke Brannon), Kayla Hightower, Bryan White, Crystal Aungst (John Aungst), Stormi Miller (Taylor Wiedemann), Cortney Ballew (Noah Ballew), Geoffery Hightower, Autumn Miller and Jack Armstrong. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
