She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Hooker and Ruby Mae Hooker (Jones); her husbands, Alfred Thurmond and Thomas Mayen; her son Robert Glenn "Bob" Thurmond; and her siblings, Evelyn June McLeland, Shirley Mabry and Orville Hooker.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Lee Thurmond of Minco, OK and David Alfred Thurmond of Duncan, OK; her sisters, Vera Black and Glenda Harris; and her daughter-in-law Linda Thurmond. She is also survived by five grandsons and a granddaughter; her great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
