He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Gilmartin and Betty Joan Murray; his stepfather Dean; his adoptive father Ronald Unger; and his pets, Skeeter, Sugarfoot and Tip.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Amy Shannon and Andy Shannon; his granddaughter Keira Whitworth; his brother Greg Unger (Sharon); his stepbrothers, Eddie Schwartz (Mariana), David Schwartz (Sharon) and Douglas Schwartz (Andrea); and his former wife Valerie Unger.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McNeil's Funeral Service (525 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064).
