We bid farewell to Goldie Mae Wood (Mustang, Oklahoma), born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Goldie Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Ford and Minnie Ford (Sloan); her parents-in-law, Guy and Sapora; her siblings, R. D. Ford (Sylvia) and Winona Lee (Oscar); her siblings-in-law, Charles Wood, Melba Wood, Glada Sanders (Bill) and Viola Hawkins (William); her nephews, Jim Steele and Wesley Logue; and her friends, George and Alice Sarinopoulos.

She is survived by : her husband Robert E. Wood; her children, Guy Robert Wood (Victoria) and Sara Janelle Johnson; her grandsons, Tanner Johnson (Brynn), Guy Robert Wood, Jr. and Andrew Wood; her great grandchild Violet Mae Johnson (Tanner); and her nieces and nephews, Patricia, Sharon, Brent (Mary Jo), David, Cindy, Mark (Cathy), Mechelle (Doug), Carol, Don (Lena), Bill (Jan) and Sharon R. (Jim).

Viewing was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McNeil's Funeral Service (525 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Cache Cemetery.
