He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harrison Hovey and Rose Mary Hovey; his former wife Louise Hovey; and his stepson David Lee Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Betty Stewart-Hovey; his stepdaughter Sherry Stewart of Wellston; his stepgranddaughter Savannah Goodgion (Russell); his son Richard Stewart of Oklahoma City; his stepson Dan Stewart (Leah) of Oklahoma City; and his stepgrandsons, Dane and Drew. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McNeil's Funeral Service (525 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064).
