He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Hays and Cleo Hays; and his wife Virginia. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Mike Evon of Elgin; his grandson Hayden Evon; and his brother Gene Hays. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
