We bid farewell to Zereta Lois Travis Thompson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Zereta Lois Travis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jefferson and Florence Beatrice Adams (Rowbottam); her former husband Jack Travis; and her siblings, Charlie Adams, Linley Adams, Doyle Adams, Adaina Riley, Pete Adams and Harold Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sons, Jack Travis Jr. (Maria) and Dirk Travis; her grandchildren, Mitchell Furr, Deborah Carter, David Travis, Waylon Travis, NeCole Travis, Cole Travis, Shana Travis and Miles Travis; her sisters, Wanda Lingle and Ina Nogalski; her sisters-in-law, Pat Adams and Faye Adams; and her caregivers, Sheila Shanks, Jennifer Callie, Valarie Baird, NeCole Travis, Larissa Beebe, Tarra Carter, Shawnee Livers and Sara Groover. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Oklahoma ALS Association in Zereta's memory.
