He was predeceased by : his parents, Emory Blackburn (Blackie) and Ethal Blackburn (Barton); his brother Johnny Blackburn; his wives, Donna Blackburn (Sherman) and Sue Blackburn (Kirby); and his great grandchild Noah Tate Romero.

He is survived by : his children, Doug (Karen Blackburn) of Cassville, MO and Renee (Mike Mounce) of Springdale, AR; his granddaughters, Amber Sims (Mike), Samantha Romero (Tony), Brittney Little (Reid) and Jennifer Henbest (Jordan); and his nephew John Blackburn (Holly). He is also survived by other family members and friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
