He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Chester Gillean and Artie Marie Gillean (Tabor); his in-laws, Harry and Clara Perry; his daughter Deanna Gillean Lane; his sister Doris Smith; his son-in-law Mark Humphrey; and his granddaughters, Katie Caro and Emily Claunts.
He is survived by: his wife Tara Gillean; his children, James Gillean (Charlene) of Muskogee, OK, Terry Hacker (Charlette) of Fort Gibson, OK, Katrina Lewis (David) of Muskogee, OK, La Glennda Humphrey of Muskogee County and Wendy Watts of Mena, AR; his siblings, Jerry Gillean of Webbers Falls, OK, Ann Garvin (Shorty) of Alvord, TX, Norma McNeill of Alvord, TX and Charie Mabry (Jim) of Mena, AR; and his close friend Wilkinson. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
