He was predeceased by: his son Robert Mitchell Pennington; his brothers, Delbert Pennington and Levi Pennington; and his nephew Terry Pennington. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Trina Aldrich, Mac Pennington and Mindy Barnes; his son-in-law Allan Barnes; his sister Judith Attaway; his brother-in-law Lloyd Ray Patterson; and also Sharon Cornail. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
