It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miles Derrick (Muskogee, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Renie and Finnie; his wife Jackie Mae Derrick; his daughter Rena Ann Derrick; his granddaughter Candice Babb; his siblings, Billy Joe Derrick, Wesley Gene Derrick, Patricia Allene Pryor, Betty Lou Johnson and Jerry Dean Derrick; and his sons-in-law, Gleason Reel, Honk Reel, Bennett Reel and Richard Reel.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara VerWoert Werner (Rod) of Buckeye, AZ, Gayle Derrick of Phoenix, AZ, Ann Rummerfield (Gary) of Gore, Sharon Davis (Jerry) of Muskogee and Wanda Reel of Gore; his grandchildren, Glenn Bennett, Dawn Adair, Sheila Ellis, Amy Henry, Tiffany Shellman, Suzanne Ranson, Cale Markley, Brandee Blankenship, Tanya Berlin, Sara Rummerfield, Staci Stocker and Brett Ver Woert; his siblings, Charlene Adair and Glenda Sue Tolbert; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Derrick of Dewey Johnson and JoAnn Derrick of Dewey Johnson; and his great-grandparent Nancy Hildebrand. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
