It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Maxine Moore (Muskogee, Oklahoma), born in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Evans and Cora Evans; her former husband Rabon Williams; her husband Johnnie H. Moore Sr.; her close friend Van R. Jones; and her siblings, Edna Paddock, Ray Evans, JC Evans, Leo Evans and Floyd Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Salisa Williams and Marc Jones; and her pet Ginger. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
